He supports local pet shelters, and rescue organizations. He owns and operates an excavating company, but finds time to write on rainy days and weekends.

Mr. Blake's hobbies include water sports like boating and scuba diving. You might find him on his boat at Willow Grove Marina at Dale Hollow Lake in central Tennessee.
